Care Instructions

There is something magical about natural dyes that you can not get from stable chemicals.

At dyeing process, each piece always turns out differently no matter how humans make the dye solution with exactly the same recipe and plants. Fabric picks up the color from the solution, combine with the Sunlights and humidities in the air and decide how they want it. After all the process is done, naturally dyed colors can still gradually change or fade over time as if it is alive. We hope you will embrace the change as a part of natural process.

'WEAR MORE, WASH LESS’ Is a known phrase for naturally dyed products. Like vintage jeans. It is better to wash less to keep the color last long and let it change naturally over the years. Natural colors prefer changing by themselves than being forced to change by water and detergent with high pressure. But of course, you might want to wash on those hot Summer days. 100% naturally dyed products need a little bit of special care so please let us instruct.

WASH : Ideally, hand wash preferred, or machine wash in washing nets with like colors, in cold water on a gentle cycle. Wash with mild, PH-neutral detergent. Avoid fabric softener.

DRY : Do not tumble dry. Dry in the shade.

STORE : Avoid the direct Sun lights and store in a dark place.

OTHER : For delicate, semi sheer cotton series, fabric wrinkles and harden after washing. But it will go back to soft and smooth texture after ironing. Acidic foods such as lemon juice can remove natural dye colors.
